This talk discusses the novel sodium-ion batteries, providing a comparative analysis with lithium-ion counterparts, addressing functional and environmental aspects. Furthermore, it highlights ongoing research challenges, offering insights into the future trajectory of battery technology.

In this talk, Selim Tanriverdi will briefly give information about micro and nanoplastics and their presence in the nature. Furthermore, he will introduce the consortium that he is part of, and finalize the talk with his specific contribution to the project.

While cancer therapy has made major progress over the years with more than 90% of patients overcoming the disease in multiple cancer types,
most patients still do not survive many cancer types. To change this, new therapeutic strategies are needed. Discovering new therapeutic strategies is challenging, but two recent trends could be about to radically transform cancer therapy.
