I am a researcher at the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences (SLU). My research is about applying nanomaterials to environmental and healthcare applications. I like playing badminton and Pokémon games. I also enjoy traveling to different places and meeting new people!

I am a researcher at SLU working on sustainable chemistry, where I combine enzymes and advanced materials to develop greener technologies that help reduce pollution. When I’m not in the lab, you can usually find me dancing salsa, playing backgammon, or enjoying a good glass of wine.

I’m an SLU researcher, and I work in the field of plant biology; more specifically, I study the mechanisms by which plants cope with harmful environmental changes. When I’m not in the lab, you’ll usually find me doing CrossFit, playing video games, or weather permitting, gardening.
Alessia Suriano

I’m a PhD student in plant molecular biology at SLU, where I explore how plants react to wounding using proteins and enzymes, in ways we usually don't notice. Outside the lab, I love crocheting, traveling, and you’ll quite often find me at a stand-up comedy show or at a concert!

G’day! I’m a postdoc at SLU in Uppsala using structural biology to study how daily exposure to nanoparticles affects our immune system. When I’m not doing science at uni, I’m doing science at home in the form of brewing beer/cider and baking bread!
