We are all aware that signed language and spoken language are quite different in the way they come across to us. But what would you say if I told you that there is not that much difference when it comes to the way language is processed in our brains or in the different situations we encounter? Giving a special neurolinguistic flavor, I will walk you through a concept that we encounter every day: noise. Specifically, how does noise affect sign language comprehension and how does it compare to spoken language
